Make your wedding bouquet stand out by being original and innovative.

There are many different ideas out there that can be applied to your wedding bouquet, which can make your bouquet out-of-the-ordinary and extraordinary. Whether you want to use real flowers or fake ones, here are some ideas that you may find interesting:

How cute are these butterflies on this bouquet? This would be adorable for a springtime outdoor wedding! Even dragonfly or little bird embellishments would look cute as well; they definitely add something special to the flowers.

This bouquet is remarkable with its unique heart shaped spherical design; we think it’s a total eye-catcher!

Use colorful flowers along with neutral colors to create shapes within the bouquet. When this is held at the right angle, the shape can be seen in photographs; you can create anything from a heart, to your guys’ initials, to your wedding date, to another symbolic meaning you may love.

This is really simple but definitely has the ability to impress. Even though these flowers are paper, they still look super cute, especially because they are over-sized.

This large satin flower is yet another simple concept, but would be adorable for all the bridesmaids to carry.

This bouquet uses paper flowers as well, but notice the writing on some of the pedals of the flowers; you can write anything on there from Bible verses, to vows, to music lyrics.

This is made of silk flowers, gems, and embellishments; it’s different but still looks very elegant and classy.

If you are looking for something affordable, DIY, and unique, make a bouquet with buttons.

Bouquets made of fabric flowers with button centers are another one-of-a-kind alternative to using real flowers. Another great thing about using fake flowers is that they will last forever, along with the wedding memories.

It’s Wedding Wednesday and we have been wandering upon some great ideas to wrap your bouquet with.

Liven up your bouquet with a unique wrap, which can be easy, D.I.Y. and affordable.
Dog tags or engraved metal plates add a certain “charm” to your bouquet; whether it be your initials, wedding date, quote, etc. they personalize the bride’s bouquet.

Using tulle and embellishments are simple, but still classy and cute.Just like a little pail, everyone can carry their bouquet by a handle, which is super cute in an outside wedding.A personal favorite, add pictures of either the bride and groom’s parents, bride and groom, and/or other pictures of people or things who have important meaning to the bride. To add well wishes, add a horseshoe or any other item that means “luck” to your wrap.   If you are looking for something classy and elegant, pearls may be your perfect match!
If you or someone you know can knit or crochet, you can make make a cute wrap, which can be paired with a ribbon and/or a brooch.

Printed ribbon adds spunk to a bouquet. Simply add pearls, beads, sequins, etc. to a ribbon in order to make your own design. Diamond mesh ribbon can be wrapped around the flower stems to add shine and sparkle. Use etched porcelain charms to customize your bouquet. Buttons add a cute edge to a bouquet.

Burlap or jute looks earthy and natural for a “green” or outdoor wedding.

Mesh netting is simple and different. Use napkin rings (probably ones which have elasticity) to liven up a plain silk wrap. This can be a perfect opportunity to incorporate your something borrowed; if a mom, grandmother, dad, or grandfather can lend an old handkerchief, it can be used for a wrap.
Lace can always give an old-fashioned and sophisticated feel to your bouquet.

Adding seashells, starfish, sand dollars, etc. is fitting for a beach wedding.

Add scrabble letters to the bride and/or bridesmaid wraps; each wrap can say something different, or be the same!

Don’t forget, bouquets don’t just end with the flowers, there is so much more you can do to make your bouquet unique and beautiful.

So have fun and be creative!

For a bride who is looking for a different and off-beat wedding, here is a way to start!

This is very cute for a spring or summer wedding; bride, groom, bridesmaids, and groomsmen holding balloons adds a “pop of color” and is great for a casual wedding.

Baskets are great idea for a simple outside or country style wedding; not just the flower girl, but bridesmaids and the bride can hold baskets with ribbons and petals.

Made with beads, this is a beautiful way to incorporate wedding colors in a special way.

This is an easy alternate idea to flowers; simply using feathers, buttons, pearls, jewels, and ribbons, this is can look super cute in a budget friendly wedding.

Having bridesmaids carry candles instead of bouquets looks beautiful and elegant; this would look gorgeous illuminating the inside of a church.

Clutches instead of bouquets has become quite popular; bridesmaids can carry plain clutches, while the bride can carry a clutch with flower embellishments.

These are felt hearts bunched together to create bouquet; what a cute idea for Valentine’s wedding!

Having your bridesmaids carry dreamcatchers is perfect for your dream day!

Refined and always classic, carrying fans will never be an old tradition; although, we don’t see it often enough these days!

Incorporate the universal symbol for love, have bridesmaids carry hearts made of ribbons and flowers or wood.

This can be made with old jewelry and pendants you have laying around the house or find at the thrift store; every bridesmaid can have their own unique jewels on theirs.

Lanterns look so pretty in an outdoor wedding, especially stained glass lanterns because they are colorful and chic.

Since they are so colorful, lollipops are fun, playful, and perfect for a casual spring or summer wedding.

Parasols are yet another classic and sophisticated option; they are prefect for a spring, summer, or southern style wedding.

Pinwheels are fabulous for a spring or summer casual and breezy wedding.

Holding little pumpkins is such a darling idea for an autumn wedding.

This is such a cute idea for a casual beach wedding; glue seashells on wood or bamboo sticks, wrap with burlap or jute fabric, and tie off with twine.

Love this creative idea of carrying luggage for a vintage or travel inspired wedding.

Wheat, a feather, and ribbon make a simple and cute bouquet for a country or simple wedding.

Twisted wire with beads or pearls looks very cool, different, and unique; this could look so beautiful in a winter wedding with a dark color scheme.

Revamp the traditional bouquet with a wreef; still staying a bit traditional, wreefs can be a lovely substitute for bouquets.

For the sporty couple, have your bridesmaids and groomsmen carry tennis rackets, baseball bats, etc. for a fun and sport themed wedding; these can always be spruced up with ribbons on the handles, paint, or writing a personal message, wedding date, song lyrics, etc. on the object.

Not only can a lot of these ideas help you save money, but many can be an easy D.Y.I. project as well.

Looking for earthy, organic, and unique ideas for a wedding bouquet?

Fruit and vegetable bouquets are eco-friendly and perfect for a nature loving couple.

Not only are they great for those who are environmentally conscious, but they can be budget friendly as well.

Flower bouquets can be a hefty price, but replacing some flowers with fruits or vegetables can possibly put some ease on your pocketbook. Especially if you decide to make the bouquets yourself, you can save a lot. Being able to pick up the products at a local grocery store or farm makes it a fast and easy process.

Here are some beautiful and creative ideas we found:

This is such a great idea for a spring wedding, the touch of lemon looks beautiful and will smell great.

Orange wedding colors? This idea of using carrots as a corsage and incorporating them in a bouquet is really cute!

If your wedding is in the fall, squash is a rustic and beautiful touch to a bouquet.

A mixture of white, pink, and red strawberries can create a pretty and unique “ombre” effect.

A bundle of radishes, or adding radishes to a bouquet, can look lovely as well; because they are so vibrant in color, they can really “pop.”

This bouquet consists of apples, lemons, yellow peppers, and bananas; it is perfect for a yellow themed summer wedding.

Green wheat makes a perfect backdrop for a bushel of aromatic lavender and roses.

Because of their rich and dark colors, purple and green cabbage can look pretty in a winter wedding.

Artichokes naturally look like flowers, so adding them to a bouquet looks super cute for something different!

This bouquet contains red peppers, strawberries, and cabbage; the contrast of red, purple, and green is definitely eye catching.

Though they are creative, ecological, and cost-effective, all these ideas come with one warning; BE VERY CAREFUL! They can be messy, so take extra caution when holding close to your dress.

If you are concerned with this being too messy, there are plenty of fake fruits and veggies you can use as well; even though they may not be as eco-friendly, they will be a lot cleaner and easier to work with.

Either way, we encourage you to have fun experimenting with different ideas!
